Vulkan Support for older PC games (e.g. Warcraft 3, Starcraft etc.)
Worry not, if you want to play Windows games on Linux, you will use Wine, and Wine has codepaths for very old DirectX versions, it translates it to OpenGL. Alternatively if you really insist there is D8VK although it shouldn't be necessary. For DirectX games that use DirectX 9, 10, or 11 you are covered with DXVK which translates those APIs into Vulkan. And for DirectX 12 games you're back to Wine with WineD3D which will do translation to Vulkan. Technically WineD3D supports every DirectX version, but DirectX 9, 10, and 11 codepaths are half finished, buggy, and less performant, that's why DXVK exists.

Wine cant play game RPG on Linux mint
If you have a proper GPU (AMD or nvidia less than 10 years old basically), you'll need Vulkan packages installed (they probably are) and install DXVK in your Wine prefix.

Lutris Install on Fedora
As last resort, you can try to install GW2 manually in its own prefix, using latest custom wine for Lutris from here and latest DXVK from here.

A lot of bugs playing games on lutris (red dead redemption)
iirc 0114:fixme:d3d12_device_get_format_support means its using wine default implementation and not vkd3d/dxvk, it should work with proprietary drivers but amdgpu is recommended.

Does the Proton fix for Elden Ring stuttering issues work on any Linux PC?
You could try DXVK on Windows to see if it helps. You just have to extract the files in the x64 folder into the same folder as ELDENRING.exe

Here's the list of the settings. Here is the info on how to use those in form of env variables (on Windows, I use them as dxvk.conf next to .exe).

DXVK DLLs - Marzent versus Doitsujin?
Just a quick question. So I was just setting up Crossover and downloaded the newest DXVK DLLs. I noticed there's the Marzent version and the original Doitsujin one. What's the difference between these, and which should be used for Crossover?
