Show HN: Lumier – Run macOS VMs in a Docker
Yes, it should be possible: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/709453
Lumier does not expose the capability but the underlying Lume CLI does.

Launch HN: C/Ua (YC X25) – Open-Source Docker Container for Computer-Use Agents
Thank you! If you're looking for a Docker alternative to something like e2b, we're planning to ship a containerized version of c/ua that also handles VNC and model hosting. Right now we're using the Lume CLI (https://github.com/trycua/cua/tree/main/libs/lume) with an API server on the host as a lightweight alternative, but the Docker setup will make it easier to self-host and extend. Would love to hear what kind of workloads or use cases you had in mind!

Show HN: Attune – Build and publish APT repositories in seconds
Curious how different is this from mise and ubi? https://github.com/jdx/mise
I have a few pain points with that for installing cua (https://github.com/trycua/cua/issues/27), so if it can remove the initial friction happy to chat!

I built an open source Computer-use framework that uses Local LLMs with Ollama
We just launched stable support for local LLM models with Ollama in Agent today - our Computer-use agent framework on macOS. Repo here: https://github.com/trycua/cua
Run models like Gemma3, Phi4, Qwen2.5, Llama3.1 & more supported by Ollama, keeping your data completely private - no cloud required.
Agent with local LLMs combines UI grounding with pixel-detection for accurate computer control with

Show HN: Tlume – a CLI tool that converts Tart VM images for Lume
Shoutout to our amazing contributor @iaktech for building tlume - a CLI tool that converts Tart VM images into the format expected by Lume!
tlume will:
- Locate your Tart VM in ~/.tart/vms/
- Create a Lume VM in ~/.lume/
- Copy all VM files with optimized buffering
- Convert the Tart config to Lume format
- Preserve all your VM hardware settings, network config, and display settings
This new bridge interface will greatly simplify adoption for those with existing Tart images and help commoditize Apple Virtualization.framework solutions across the ecosystem!
