    It's possible to enable and define your own colors(upto 8 but only in hex codes) through configuration. Take a look at the default config file provided by the author(to be more specific, look at row number 121) | 2021-02-18
    The equalizer(not actually equalizer but rather "visualizer") has nothing to do with the i3 window manager, it's just a terminal based program that displays those audio visualization bars using the advanced linux sound architecture or ALSA in short(also supports some other frameworks as well). You can also customize the apperance of it to your own liking. Take a look at the source
