    I'm finding it hard to locate a bsnes changelog, so I dunno if the fast PPU was in 107, or if it was, was is complete enough at that point. The latest release is a nightly 115 build from this actively maintained repo (under Assets).

    But "fully accurate" is the sticking point. Copying the functionality of the PPUs from the die-scans is still a work-in-progress; even if the PPUs only affect the output image that could potentially give you visual cues that don't exist on console. There could also be bugs in the CPU that haven't been found yet just because it requires some corner case we just haven't found yet.
