BG3 script extender downloading older version
hi! i'm trying to download the appearance edit enhanced mod by eralyne, and the bg3 script extender is required. i downloaded the most recent version posted on github, but it still gives me an error message in bg3mm saying that i need v9 or newer. pretty sure its taking me to an older version when i download it, as it says the file was last modified in august. i've also seen other people saying the download is giving them an older version even though the page says it was updated to support patch 5. does anyone have the v11 files? or know where i can get them? thank you!!!

Need help for using mods for the first time (5e Spells)
- On nexus Mod, goes to 5e spell mod page. I donwload it as well as the required Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Fixer. I also download the BG3 Script Extender and place it in the /bin as said.

Mine's working as intended but you can try downloading BG3SE from the github website and manually installing it.

Norbyte console - revive command
Does anyone knows a command to revive an NPC for the Norbyte console? https://github.com/Norbyte/bg3se I need one NPC for a storyline and he ended up dead because of a glitch and I lost a save file to reload and save him.

Possible fix for saves failing
This is a possible fix for those suffering from the save fail errors like I am. I was looking through the ImprovedUI posts over on the Nexus Mods site and found a post from JenSprngl stating: "After updating all my mods I couldn't use the Magic Mirror, but after installing Script Extender I could finally use it! My mod that highlights items also works, I can also barter goods with merchants, can save my game. So far, so good! My advice is make sure you update all your mods, if using Vortex double check if you installed them properly some mod authors have specific guides if you use vortex I personally prefer using BG3 Mod Manager, also make sure your load order is correct, and then try installing Script Extender."

How to Mod BG3 - Beginner Friendly!
1) idk if you need Steam to be open, but just to make sure the mod manager has an easier time detecting your files, I'd have it open - 2) Make sure your game is up to date! Modders are usually pretty quick and most mods are patched to work with BG3's latest version - 3) Download the latest version of the Mod Manager that is used by most every mod on nexusmods.com; https://github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3ModManager i) Extract the zip folder and run the mod manager- there will be an 'application' file that says BG3ModManager (we'll shorthand that to MM from now on) inside. ii) the MM should automatically detect the folder paths to the game. If it doesn't, do CTRL+P and copy these paths into that menu; Game Data Path= C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data Game Executable Path= C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/bin/bg3.exe - 4) Now it's time to download mods off of nexusmods.com! Most mods will have requirements, so let's just use the mod fixer that is required by almost every other mod as our example! you can download that here; https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/141?tab=description i) download the zip file and extract that, once extracted you'll want to copy ONLY the .pak file over into the BG3 mods folder! Path to the Mod folder= C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods ii) Go back to the MM and hit F5 or the manual refresh button that's at the top of the menu bar. If done correctly the Mod Fixer should show up at the bottom left under the "Overrides" section. iii) when you go to add more mods, let's say the Camp Events Notification; https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1879 , you'll do the same steps- extract zip, copy .pak into the Mods folder, refresh the MM. BUT some mods, like the one mentioned prior, may have additional requirements! The Camp Notification, for example, requires the Script Extender! iv) download the SE here; https://github.com/Norbyte/bg3se/releases . The script extender has different install rules: extract the DWrite.dll file into the Baldur's Gate 3 bin folder; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin Once you do that, refresh the MM just to make sure everything is synced up!
