Too stupid to understand the BLFS book
Good questions ☺️ I used duckduckgo (i basicly googled it) "linux kernel qca9377" and arch forums someone asked and mentioned that module (even correcting themselves) and the later dmesg they posted looked promising. The https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/ath10k result also lists your exact chipset.

Never ending WiFi issues
I'm using Ubuntu 20.4 with this card "Qualcomm Atheros QCA617 wifi (ath10k_pci)" and I haven't had any WiFi issues so to speak. This site might help you find a solution: https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmware
- How would you improve this solution?

I don't see my network interfaces for some reason after a fresh installation. Do help me out.
Did you go here and build the firmware from the latest source? https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmware . I remember the ath10k being a nightmare to install years back on one of my old laptops and having to compile the firmware from source directly to get it to work right. Good luck and installing using emerge is usually the preferred but not always best way.

ath10k_pci crash
If you mean the QCA6174 folder update, what I did was deleting the folder (/lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174) and then replacing it with the one on the repo. I did it because I was following this guide, and I did had to rename 1 file.
