Help with Xbox Elite 2 back paddles wireless
This seems to be related to Linux not recognizing the buttons, as if you look at the controller in input devices it only list buttons up to 11. According to this page (https://github.com/AntiMicroX/antimicrox/issues/685) the back paddles should map to buttons 11-14. Windows user have a similar issue with the latest controller firmware (mine has already been rolled back) where windows stopped recognizing the buttons. It seems Linux did not recognize the button presses till kernel 6.1 (https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-6.1-XPad).

Fightcade 2: using PS4 Controls with Steam, and it doesn't work with Fightcade 2.
https://github.com/AntiMicroX/antimicrox, which takes the DS4 inputs and translates them to keyboard keys (and then you just map your inputs in FBNeo/Flycast/SNES9x/ggpo-fba to the corresponding keyboard keys).

Why is aiming difficult to program for controllers?
Lastly, you can simply disable native controller support, and use a M&KB emulator. Some games force controller support, but HidHide can hide the controller from games so double input doesn't occur(may be needed for DS4W and reWASD too). Mouse emulation on programs like Antimicro and DS4Windows is excellent(radial deadzones, with deadzone and curve options), which can be easier than trying to working around the game's controls. You do lose controller menu navigation and the left stick becomes limited to 8 directions emulating WASD. May not be ideal depending on the game, but that's been my default solution for shooters with poor controls.
