Why do you not like the main VN OCR? I find its only really that finicky in the initial setup and once you have it configured for your VN you are set.

Question regarding Camera translation apps.
You could try streaming to your PC (through a capture card) and using similar OCR software to translate like Visual-Novel-OCR. Software uses DeepL which is really good.
