Minecraft Server running slow while CPU usage is at 33%
Random Googling brings me this and I find it quite helpful: https://github.com/TheUsefulLists/UsefulMods/tree/main/Performance

Game launches slow? +45 mins
You could also try adding more optimization mods. Mods Jvm flags, but read about it.

Hi. I'm looking for performance booster mods. More specifically mods that reduce ram usage with no/least quality penalty. I'm using curseforge app since my base MC launcher is modded for gf and I don't feel like transfering files back and forth repeatedly. Also how do I add optiffine?
For 1.16, Magnesium will give you the best performance (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sodium-reforged) but there are many performance mods. This list is the best: https://github.com/TheUsefulLists/UsefulMods (Click on 1.16.x)

Is it possible to create public servers with mods and plugins as in the old versions?
Can we reach about 100 players I haven't worked at a big scale like that, mostly small player counts. But it should be possible, there are big servers running fabric. Check out this guide, its a must read and this list of useful mods, they have a section for server side.

I'm still learning how to make my own meme
Also, I think Java can easily compete with bedrock performance-wise with a couple mods. Bedrock just has less expensive graphics. So with Sodium, a couple more optimisation mods, and Distant Horizon(so you can put the render distance very low and still have far sight distance), you should probably get as good performances as bedrock with all the advantages. Or you could go with a good modpack that can multiply your FPSs by a lot
