Organic Maps
There is a separate app to install with VR tool that is capable of measuring it without tape measure :)
See https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.westnordost...
(initially it was bundled in one app, later it turned out that Google was lying about license of arcore repository, see https://github.com/streetcomplete/StreetComplete/issues/4289 )
> you can add business’ opening hours to OpenStreetMap
And by far the easiest way to do this, if you have an Android phone, is to use the beautiful StreetComplete app: https://github.com/streetcomplete/StreetComplete/#readme

Show HN: OpenStreetMap statistics that can be updated with GitHub actions
Hey there, I'm an OpenStreetMap enthusiast and I was curious what kind of impact the app I am using has (I use StreetComplete[1], an easy-to-use Android app to add missing information). I couldn't find data for all my questions and some were not up to date, but I found a few starting points on how to do it myself[2][3]. Soon I realized that many more interesting questions about OpenStreetMap in general could be answered with the data and I created a website (https://piebro.github.io/openstreetmap-statistics/) to show them. Since I want the data to be up to date, I added a script to update everything easily and packed it in GitHub Actions so I can update the data with a few clicks every month.
If you have questions or feedback, feel free to comment here or open an issue at the repo.

If you haven't already, check out the new addresses overlay in StreetComplete v48; it's awesome!
Maybe I'm a bit late to the party here since this update came out like a week ago and I only just noticed it now, but if you're a StreetComplete user and you haven't tried the new addresses overlay in StreetComplete v48 yet you should; it's awesome!

Every Door – OpenStreetMap editor for POIs and entrances
StreetComplete has actually been adding a new feature called “overlays” recently, which let you switch the map to a special mode for editing a certain class of features. The upcoming version 48 has an overlay for shops and street addresses, which might cover much of what Every Door is aiming at: https://github.com/streetcomplete/StreetComplete/releases

OpenStreepMap 2012 vs. 2022
It is a side-by-side comparison of OSM data from 2012 (left) and the current OSM data. In my local area the difference is massive: the 2012 data has some roads but that's about it, no buildings, house numbers, etc. That's all present on the 2022 version (disclaimer: partly because I spent several months walking around mapping things with the StreetComplete app [1]).
For me it isn't down, just taking a very long time (multiple minutes) to load the 2012 data.
