    You really need to do research here, but here's the cliffs notes: any protein CNA be expressed by mRNA, one only needs the genetic sequence of the protein. This was attained when scientist mapped and published on GitHub the genetic sequence for the entire SARS-CoV-2 virus. So they got the design of the mRNA from the spike protein itself, as discovered in the genetic map. Here is more information
