This is a smart curtain opener that I've created. It attaches to your (blackout) curtains and opens them automatically every morning to help you wake up, then closes to save on cooling. I've been using it for years and it's become my natural alarm clock. STLs and firmware in comments

According to the Github, it looks like there is some kind of calibration step - so you would calibrate it to fit the width of your window, and it would open the curtains as wide as you tell it.
