How do you load multiple files with neko project ii kai?
.m3u support for disk swap was removed from NP2 Kai core some time ago (https://github.com/AZO234/NP2kai/commit/52adc14932a28760df0ad23f75d8af375375d2d5). I am not sure why. But you can still load .m3u file through a .cmd file (https://i.postimg.cc/9fCSdbFP/NP2Kai-1.png). Both are plain text file and can be created with text editor. Another way is to manually add "m3u" back to "np2kai_libretro.info". But running "Update Core Info Files" will revert it back.

Autorun fullscreen PC-9801 emulator Neko Project II Kai on startup
For that, I would need to install Neko Project II Kai from this GitHub: https://github.com/AZO234/NP2kai Otherwise, if you know a distro, where it is in the repositories, I would be very grateful. After installation, I would only need to DE anymore to set up the emulator and to copy files to my virtual hard disk image.

Having trouble with 2 Shot Diary on Neko Project II
Although I can't speak to this particular 2 Shot Diary bug, I would suggest trying a Linux-native NP2. It's pretty straightforward to build. https://github.com/AZO234/NP2kai

I just started playing Touhou 1, then reimus orb got stuck .-.
Are you using the latest NP2 emulator? That article is so old, that it mostly no longer applies to the version of NP2 I'm using...

Just normal 1cc'd SoEW!!
The funny thing is that I'm just testing out my new optimization flags for compiling Neko Project II kai, and don't expect to 1cc any Touhou at all. The new CFLAGS would be link time optimization (-flto), -march=native, mtune=native, -O3, and -DNDEBUG, compared to the default cmake flags of CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release which would be -O3 -DNDEBUG -march=x86_64 -mtune=generic. I didn't notice any significant performance improvements over the latter though. But both of them don't show any slowdown or lag, which is good.

No sound when playing Pure II?
There is music in the first scene, yes. The sound settings are as described in the first comment, basically all defaults. I suspect that we may have different builds of NP2 itself. Mine is a Linux build from commit 3e8fedc7 (11 Feb 2021) at the https://github.com/AZO234/NP2kai repository. Trying a few different emulators or emulator versions will likely get it working.
