• Is there a program that will allow me an audible notification to let me know when the internet cuts off? Or is there a program that makes a sound when internet cuts off, like a dying gasp?

  Hammerspoon would be an excellent tool for the same. I have a similar script that gives me notifications when my home wifi gets connected/disconnected.   I suggest trying `homebrew`. It can prove to be an alternative for rectangle and Karabiner Elements, while doing much more. My Hammerspoon config files are here https://github.com/kartikeytewari/Hammerspoon_config for reference.
