I know this is called pixel sorting but how would I get the lines to curves similar to the picture?
2. Go to https://github.com/tsulej/GenerateMe and at the top right there's a green button that says "Code". Click that and then click "download zip". Unzip it somewhere. It'll make a folder called "GenerateMe_master". No installation needed, so wherever you unzip should be where you want it to permanently live.

does anyone here now how i can get this cool cyber like distortion effect on my drawings?
I swear I answer this every week about how to do this stuff. The lines are generated using the GenerateMe processing scripts. To get the lines. Then it looks like you can use the "median" filter in photoshop to get the effect where it is make by thick dots. Then you can add some color by either painting color then using Gaussian blur and "color" mode to get the colors. And lastly you can use a pattern fill using multiply layer mode to get the vertical lines.

what is this effect called and how to achieve it?
It takes a little work to setup, because it's not a photoshop filter. Instead, you install [version 2.something] of a framework called "Processing" and then you download the entire collection of stuff from here: https://github.com/tsulej/GenerateMe ...and then within many of these folders is a unique filter that you run by double clicking it, loading an image, and then clicking to try some random glitch effect. With many filters, every run creates a new result.

artifacts/glitch effect
• After you install 'processing', get the script called "GenerateME"... this is like a bundle of filters mostly specializing in glitch and analog effects. A few of these filters do the glitch effect you want. They also have a filter that does a cool FM modulation effect.

How to achieve this effect here with any Adobe Software?
Okay FINE! I will disclose the secret to this effect since you have been looking so long and been trying to figure a way to do it and failed. The image clearly uses the "Frequency Modulator" processing script that is found in the GenerateMe pack which you can find here... GenerateMe

Just curious, do you all think this kind of art is entirely digital? better Q, do you know how this aesthetic is achieved? Polygon1993 is a fav of mines, but not the only artist I've seen utilize this style in their work. Wondering if its a widely available digital filter/effect or something else.
which in turn is based on the original scripts for processing made by Tomaz tsulej look under fm https://github.com/tsulej/GenerateMe
