is my batter life normal?
check if refresh rate is important to you and if you really want/need 120Hz. You can also use Galaxy MaxHz, that helps setting your desired refresh rate

Tips for battery drain.
Galaxy Max Hz is a brilliant app that will allow you to take the benefits of your smooth display and save battery by setting it to 96Hz, I strongly recommend setting your display to FHD+ with this though, 1440p (WQHD+) will murder your battery life, even at 60Hz. You can change the resolution with a Quick Menu toggle (where your WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data buttons are)

Having tried 1440p, I can't go back to FHD. I really wish Samsung gave us the option to chose both 1440p and 120hz because 60hz feels laggy but I'll get used to it in a few days or weeks.
One time adb setup required, details here https://github.com/tribalfs/GalaxyMaxHzPub/blob/main/README.md
try again first reinstalling [LINK to v7.14.52 APK] and then the ADB setup, verify that all the steps you do are done correctly, I just did it and it does not show the option you are missing without having correctly configured the permission, good luck.
