  • Can I install the same app in both .rpm and flatpak and using it at the same time?
    1 project | /r/linuxquestions | 23 Jul 2022
The reason I want to do this is because: I want to install GPU-Viewer app in .rpm package to check the info on my system, and the flatpak version to check the info that's in the flatpak sandbox. For instance, my OpenCL C version on Fedora 36 is 1.2, but it's still 1.1 in flatpak due to the older driver.

a new version of gpu-viewer is out, its a simple front-end application where you can view to output of vulkaninfo, glxinfo, es2_info and clinfo in a readable format. Hope this application will be useful to others. https://github.com/arunsivaramanneo/GPU-Viewer Ubuntu 21.10/Ubuntu 21.04/Ubuntu 20.04/Ubuntu 18.04/Linux Mint 20.x/19.x users should be able to install this application using the below PPA sudo add-apt-repository ppa:arunsivaraman/gpuviewer sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install gpu-viewer Please note all the dependencies python3, vulkan-tools,clinfo, es2_info will be installed, if not installed before. Arch based distro - users should be able to grab the application at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gpu-viewer/ or by running command sudo pacman -s gpu-viewer from the terminal . This should automatically take care of the dependencies Any feedback is highly appreciated
