FreeMars Game (Sid Meier's Colonization + Civilization 2 Mars scenario + SMAC)
I found that repository confusing, because it was tagged as a Visual Basic .NET project. It also hasn't been worked on in 5 years. Well let's see, https://github.com/arikande/FreeMars/blob/master/FreeMars/src/free_mars_versioninfo.txt shows version 0.8.7.2. Whereas https://sourceforge.net/projects/freemars/files/ shows version 0.8.7.5 and a release date of September 14, 2019. There's only 1 branch, so I don't think I've been tripped up by any Git branching weirdness. I don't think the current development repository is available. Maybe the author just kept working in a local repo and stopped bothering to push anything to GitHub.
