    You can look at all the available protocols here. Either way, I would highly recommend going with ExpressLRS rather than any of these protocols as it's much newer and higher performance.

    Let clarify what a 4-in-1-module actually is and can do. It means it has 4 radio chips, that each covers a significant number of protocols. It's open source (find it here). You just select a model in the radio, then set what protocol it should use and off you go. It actually supports like 100 (ish) protocols over all (so many many more if you count sub-protocols). Some radios come with just a single of those 4 chips (typically the CC2500, which does Frsky, Futaba/SFHSS,Hitec,Esky,.. but NOT FlySky), but is usually ~10 bucks cheaper than the version with the full 4-in-1. Weirdly enough, many of those radios still have a "module slot" that can accept external modules, including a full 4-in-1 to expand that protocol pool later, too, if actually needed.
