Gigabyte Z790 / Intel i9 13900K / Radeon RX 550 / Ventura
Sound: I use an USB sound card so this is not a big deal for me but the onboard sound does not work. I tried AppleALC.kext together with any of the layout ids for the ALC897 from this list but nada. I also very rarely noticed some stuttering on the USB speakers. Not sure what this was about.

Finally in a good place and found something odd (just a couple more tweaks to go).
For audio you will need the REaltek audio kext. And use the appropriate layout id in boot arg for it to work with ALC1220. https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/releases

OpenCore 0.8.2 released! 🎉🎉👏
There was a bug with the first release of AppleALC v1.7.3 today that caused a crash at boot. A corrected build of 1.7.3 was posted later today that fixed that and everything is now working fine for me.

Still noise headphone jack noise on the T450
I also edited the boot-args under NVRAM in the config.plist where I tested all of the id's (layout 12, 15, 18, 28, 32, 55, 59) as found in the supported codes table on github (https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs)

Is there a guide on how to compile AppleALC?
Not sure if This is what you're looking for, or not.. I was going to follow up on your other post today. I think the Dock I have is broken, I wasn't able to get any Audio working on it at all. Tried an X230T and a T530, no sound in the dock in any OS.

Hello everyone, Hackintosh noob here! First time installing osx on my pc but facing some issues. Was hoping if someone could help me to set up the graphics and fix sound not working. I’d really appreciate. More information in comments
For audio to work you should add the Apple ALC Kext, and the boot-arg alcid=1

Please help me fix usb and keyboard trackpad, at least usable xD Mac os monterey opencore 0.7.7 Samsung r530 t6600 gt310m ps2controller
1- About Audio, VoodooHDA sucks ! Even if it was working, you'll be regret because audio quality is terrible ! So the Question is : What should you do? First you should Dump Your Audio Codec, if the codec was Realtek, see this link for supported codeIDs and layouts ( AppleALC-Supported-Codecs ) then you should try all LayoutIDs to see if it's working ... , if Not, You should Make Your Own Layout.
