It's pretty straightforward to convert from Server to WASM. I did it recently, but whilst it wasn't complex, there were a lot of changes. That said, it would have been quicker and simpler if I'd not simultaneously supported Blazor Server and WASM in the same codebase during the transition period, as a lot of the interface abstractions etc would not have been needed.
