Cardano does not have slashing. This is a bit technical but slashing is introduced to tackle the nothing at stake problem. In Ethereum, if you try to run two validators with the same set of keys (cheating the game), you get slashed. In Cardano you can spin-up multiple validators with the same set of keys and cheat the system, this has been observed in the wild ( https://github.com/input-output-hk/cardano-node/issues/1132 ). And so far nothing has been done. To be honest, the nothing at stake problem is probably much less of an issue when literally there is nothing at stake in your network. So perhaps Cardano has solved it by being absolutely irrelevant.
