    • The wiki pages on VDPAU and VAAPI aren't really helpful. On other distros there's this VDPAU -> VAAPI translation package but it seems that got removed from gentoo. So is this VDPAU thing a dead end? The other solution I see is using this: https://github.com/elFarto/nvidia-vaapi-driver/ (which uses NVDEC).
