    • For a SaaS solution, NewRelic gets my vote. For open source use the telegraf agent (https://github.com/influxdata/telegraf) and you can choose whatever TSDB you want to ship your data to that is supported (https://github.com/influxdata/telegraf/tree/master/plugins/outputs). I’ve been using Zabbix for the last ~8 years and I cannot in good conscience suggest Zabbix, especially for ephemeral hosts.
