  • Not sure, but I think before forcing Firefox to use Wayland it could not properly share the screen while on some meeting sites (can't remember if meet or zoom). Don't recall having any issues after setting the option to use Wayland. One app that made me switch to X11 every time I needed it was Discord, but now I've found WebCord that works perfectly (well... not so perfectly given that it freezes after some time sharing my screen, but for my purpose it is ok to just reopen it). Now I can say that for my use case there's no drawback in using Wayland over X11.
