You can use markup languages like org-mode or markdown to convert them to other formats like LaTeX or Word or HTML with Pandoc. Pandoc supports several formats, you can read about them here. You can write latex equations to cite bibliography in a very easy way and it’s gets carried over to the other format.
Especially if the level of math is not too high/complex, have a look markdown (e.g., learnxinyminutes.com) which works really well for pandoc.org to convert in many other formats (including .docx, .odt, .tex .html, etc.) and be equally welcome on r/pandoc.
