I was looking for the same thing. If you are just looking for an Rust ActivityPub implementation, the Lemmy project is written in Rust.

This is a pretty big amount of work and I honestly see no value to do it in rust especially when projects like https://github.com/superseriousbusiness/gotosocial exist.

https://github.com/Arkanosis/microstatus aims to be Mastodon-compatible. Yet it does indeed recommend gotosocial as a more mature alternative.
