Web tools/bookmarkers to help boost my productivity

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/selfhosted

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • ArchiveBox

🗃 Open source self-hosted web archiving. Takes URLs/browser history/bookmarks/Pocket/Pinboard/etc., saves HTML, JS, PDFs, media, and more...

The other thing I implemented is https://archivebox.io. This is kind of like your own selfhosted wayback machine (however it currently lacks support for periodical archival of the same site to track changes - https://github.com/ArchiveBox/ArchiveBox/issues/179). Every single link I put into Kanboard, wiki, notes or bookmarks I want to push through here too, so my current step is automating this part as much as possible.

  • Kanboard

    Kanban project management software

tasks: these went into a project management system, I use https://kanboard.org/

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • Wiki.js

Wiki.js | A modern and powerful wiki app built on Node.js

information: these mostly went into a wiki, a notes system, or as a comment on a kanboard task. I use https://js.wiki/ for my wiki and currently still deciding on a notes app so these are just markdown stored in a git repo (https://gitea.io)

  • Gitea

Git with a cup of tea! Painless self-hosted all-in-one software development service, including Git hosting, code review, team collaboration, package registry and CI/CD

information: these mostly went into a wiki, a notes system, or as a comment on a kanboard task. I use https://js.wiki/ for my wiki and currently still deciding on a notes app so these are just markdown stored in a git repo (https://gitea.io)

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
