Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • transfer.sh

Easy and fast file sharing from the command-line.

  • use an intermediary storage, e.g., https://github.com/dutchcoders/transfer.sh, Firefox send (https://send.vis.ee/ has a list of sites) or https://github.com/drakkan/sftpgo. This can be done with just a browser for the sender/receiver, but someone must host the server. For the first two I am pretty sure there are a lot of public servers, but be sure to encrypt your data before using them

  • syncthing-android

    Wrapper of syncthing for Android.

  • long term, continuous sync is often done using Syncthing (https://syncthing.net/)

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • SFTPGo

Fully featured and highly configurable SFTP server with optional HTTP/S, FTP/S and WebDAV support - S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob

  • use an intermediary storage, e.g., https://github.com/dutchcoders/transfer.sh, Firefox send (https://send.vis.ee/ has a list of sites) or https://github.com/drakkan/sftpgo. • croc

Easily and securely send things from one computer to another :crocodile: :package:

  • use an immediate transfer tool (e.g., https://github.com/schollz/croc or magic-wormhole). Generally this needs some software to be installed on both sides, but there are also versions that run just on a browser. These things often have trouble if both sides are behind ISPs that use CGNAT)

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
