It may be from the windows site but you still cam have a corrupted file. I'm starting g to think you have something set wrong on the MCT. Can you post a screen shot? And I have always gotten my different OS' from torrent sites. Whether it's Linux, windows, some other platform for something I'm building I've always had luck, but make sure it's a trusted download. As I said, I'm very curious as to your settings. Also, download Rufus. It's a great program for creating bootable media. In fact I found it because I had the same issue as you, but on a laptop.
