Discontinued Implementations for ENS core functionality: The registry, registrars, and public resolvers.
It's an ancient idea at this point, and definitely one of the good ones. There's also ENS, which is basically domain names for wallet addresses, except they require you to pay "rent" to keep them. I don't think Telegram's implementation requires it, so they're basically free to squat.
