switching to colemak as a vim/emacs user

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/Colemak

Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • keyd

A key remapping daemon for linux.

What I did is creating a new keyboard layout (on Linux, this is an amazingly easy powerful alternative you can use https://github.com/rvaiya/keyd) and creating a layer (I hold a button and other keys behave as I want) to the usual vim keys (to arrows actually, so I can use VIM keys everywhere) same way I do also have mapped home, end, pageup, pagedown, and even symbols and a numpad.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
