  • ah, yeah I've heard good things about pandoc and I didn't know latexmk was I thing, I'll probably check that out. Most implementations that use latex for chat or forums or w/e don't support latex (Like Reddit's markdown mode) Also website builders that let you write markdown instead of HTML (Ghost typically don't support it Although I think it would be fairly trivial to compile markdown with katex before running it through the standard markdown parser. If you want a PDF you probably want real latex though
