  dot-mode.el is a minor mode for GNU Emacs / XEmacs that emulates the '.' command in vi.

Hi I don't know if this works with `meow` but I know of this package that emulates `vi`'s dot command dot-mode . Probably it will need some configuring to work well with `meow` but you can try it maybe it will work out of the box.
