Asahi Lina on her experience writing the M1 GPU driver for Linux in Rust

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/programming

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • stable-diffusion

    A latent text-to-image diffusion model

Fair enough, that is the Rust circlejerk line, but at worst her crime is too much enthusiasm. If that's what it takes to bring the full power of Linux to the M1 I think she's earned the right to be enthusiastic. I'll save my disdain for people like this who are entirely unwilling to put their money where their mouth is and explicitly dismiss any criticism.

  • rustc_codegen_gcc

    libgccjit AOT codegen for rustc

What will be an actually real and useful thing is the gcc backend

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • gccrs

    GCC Front-End for Rust

Here's the project I was referring to: https://rust-gcc.github.io/

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
