This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/programming

Our great sponsors
  • SurveyJS - Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • uBlock

uBlock Origin - An efficient blocker for Chromium and Firefox. Fast and lean.

The author of uBlock Origin still recommends Firefox, but every time I try to switch I just can't handle the (what I personally consider to be) poor UX/performance. Though as soon as Manifest v3 hits fully and uBlock is gone from Chromium, I will begrudgingly switch for good.

  • SmartTube

SmartTube - an advanced player for set-top boxes and tvs running Android OS

  • SurveyJS

Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App. With SurveyJS form UI libraries, you can build and style forms in a fully-integrated drag & drop form builder, render them in your JS app, and store form submission data in any backend, inc. PHP, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js.

  • uBlock-issues

This is the community-maintained issue tracker for uBlock Origin

This discussion on uBlock Origin Github says the new rule syntax allows 81k rules to be condensed to 21k rules

  • FilterLists

:shield: The independent, comprehensive directory of filter and host lists for advertisements, trackers, malware, and annoyances.

Wait so this means that everything on https://filterlists.com/ will need to be pushed as a pull request on uBlock Origin whenever they make changes?

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
