Why our company replaced Golang+GraphQL with TypeScript+Prisma+tRPC

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on reddit.com/r/reactjs

Our great sponsors
  • Zigi - Workflow assistant built for devs & their teams
  • Scout APM - Truly a developer’s best friend
  • InfluxDB - Build time-series-based applications quickly and at scale.
  • Sonar - Write Clean JavaScript Code. Always.
  • trpc

🧙‍♀️ Move Fast and Break Nothing. End-to-end typesafe APIs made easy.

My apologies, I was somewhat wrong on this. At its core trpc is language agnostic but it's not very usable. See this discussion here https://github.com/trpc/trpc/issues/755 and https://github.com/jlalmes/trpc-openapi for how it could be used as a public-facing API for anyone to use regardless of using typescript or not. The current recommended way to use it from non-typescript clients feels more like a hack/workaround.

  • trpc-openapi

    OpenAPI support for tRPC 🧩
