  • When you use Wine, you generally create a 'bottle', in which Wine creates a replica of a typical windows file system. In that bottle you can install software, and perform other changes, such as modifying registry keys. Generally it's good practice to have a separate bottle for each windows application, so each one can be tweaked as necessary to get each Windows application running 'just right'. There is also an application called 'Bottles' which can make this process very simple.

  • archwiki

MediaWiki used on Arch Linux websites (read-only mirror)

We have a whole wiki dedicated to this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • proton-ge-custom

Compatibility tool for Steam Play based on Wine and additional components

Perhaps a game outright doesn't run, and there's a fix in the very latest version of Wine as recently as just days ago. Proton GE often pulls in recent versions of Wine extremely fast and updates very often, so installing Proton GE and using that instead might get a broken game working. For example, look at the latest version of Proton GE just 5 days ago, includes just one fix to get Phantasy Star Online 2 working.

  • ProtonUp-Qt

Install and manage GE-Proton, Luxtorpeda & more for Steam and Wine-GE & more for Lutris with this graphical user interface.

You can add third party versions of Proton to Steam on Linux using a tool called "ProtonUp-QT", which makes it easy to pick a latest version of a tool such as Proton GE, install it, and then you only need to restart Steam to have it show up as an option in the dropdown menu.
