You should submit this as an issue on eglot repo (https://github.com/joaotavora/eglot), you're likely to get better feedback and from the author. From my experience maintainers are usually responsive, but don't always hand out on reddit or other discussion sites.
You may still need Company backends (for example company-c-backend), when you want completion suggestions other than what Eglot/your LSP server provide. Then you will also need Corfu's complement Cape.
