If you've only made beginner apps in WPF, the styling requirements (re-templating) and custom controls will be extensive for a look like this. I suggest you check out some of the common third-party styling libraries (including wpfui which currently has the most modern look for WPF, IMO) and see the size of the code base that supports them. While you don't need to make a complete UI library for a single app (make only what is needed), it will give you insight into how much work there is to be done.
