Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • beancount

Beancount: Double-Entry Accounting from Text Files.

  • I use this amazing, open-source personal accounting tool called beancount. You can pair this with fava to get a fairly advanced UI on top of your data. There's a fair amount of entry learning curve, especially if you don't code. I manually enter my transactions from credit card statements every ~3 months, so I'm doing high precision tracking. I struggle a little bit with accounting for cash transactions, but those are so neglibile that it doesn't quite matter in the grand scheme of things.

  • Fava

Fava - web interface for Beancount
