Have a look at Portacle, which is meant to be more or less what you're looking for: an out-of-the-box functional CL IDE.
I also read up on alternatives, and also tried out the alive VSCode extension. Unfortunately, I could not get it to work on my machine.

If you are doing it for learning, that's fine! But otherwise you could check out and contribute to Alive for VSCode. There's also cl-repl which I think can be distributed in the form of binary images.
