  • I can see using it strictly for talking to normies, but I could also see using discord or facebook or some other app with no concern for privacy for that. What I don't understand is why are people recommending it on a privacy sub? What advantage does this have over matrix.org, other than accessibility to normies? Because if we're just talking to normies then normie apps are totally sufficient so there's no need to even use something other than the mainstream apps that normies already use.
