They brought near-perfect gaming compatibility for Linux. Hell, they even sell a handheld with Arch Linux! What Chrome did? FLoC (tracking people to target ads), established a new API to greatly limit what content blockers can do and does absolutely nothing to protect your privacy. Damn, even MS Edge does a better job at protecting you on the web
I don't disagree with your point, but itch.io's client supports installing Linux games and is even open source. It can even install Windows games and run them through WINE.
