    I'd had a look, but unless I'm missing something, they seem to still be interacting with the CLI at deployment time, not runtime. There are open tickets to provide an API to call the CDKs from code, e.g. https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform-cdk/issues/1104, but that doesn't look to be on the horizon any time soon.
