Alacritty doesn't care about its users needs. They just want to clench to their own definition of "performance" instead.

    • Thatā€™s fair, I wished this is how maintainers handled it, but it doesnā€™t seem to happen this way normally. I went on a bit of a search and sixel support you mentioned is another feature being requested in all the hip terminal applications. E.g. on kitty they first rejected it, then let someone go forward with an implementation, until that user themselves became maintainer of libsixel in the process and decided it was too insecure for kitty and nothing has happened sinceā€¦ ā˜› https://github.com/kovidgoyal/kitty/issues/2511
