If zfs was baked into the kernel, would you use it for desktop system?

  • zfs

    OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD

The main blocker for ZFS for me (on a laptop) is the lack of hibernate/s2disk when using swapfiles, which is supported by btrfs. The only thing I miss from btrfs compared to ZFS is encryption, but I can work that around by using LUKS2 (even though I'd prefer if it was baked in, to remove a layer).

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
