Any reason appimage doesn't work? I haven't explored this yet on our rhel machines but I would imagine that would work. Also you should be able to just run the tarball version with no issues. The fact that they only have the .deb up shouldn't matter.
You should try zinit
The nvim binary build in Ubuntu 20.04 requires GLIBC 2.28, but libc.so on CentOS 7.4 only support up to GLIBC 2.17. I have downloaded the latest nightly nvim release for linux and run it on CentOS 7. It will not run.
Do you mean nvim-dap-python? I made debugpy.nvim specifically as an alternative, not a substitute, so even though both fulfill the same purpose they do it in different ways.
