ASP.NET Core
ASP.NET Core is a cross-platform .NET framework for building modern cloud-based web applications on Windows, Mac, or Linux.
What I am currently working on is a newer portion of the total web app. This portion is an asp.net core MVC app but it also contains (inside the controllers) several routes that act as typical RESTful API routes for handling CRUD operations. This portion is basically an in house CMS for our product database. However, this is where it gets really odd, the way we have it deployed is that its published but then added to our main website as like an internal service I guess. But the Main website is a monolith. We have IIS running (10 i believe) and it just serves the site as static pages (old asp written in old VBscript and many shtml pages) Based on this, do you still think the middleware suggestion is the most optimal approach?
