A cross-platform music tagger powered by the MusicBrainz database. Picard organizes your music collection by updating your tags, renaming your files, and sorting them into a folder structure, exactly the way you want it.

WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
Another approach would be to use programs like DupeGuru (https://dupeguru.voltaicideas.net/), but I would backup your collection first before playing around with a program you never used before.
Use a tool like MusicBrainz to clean up/standardize the metadata, then use a tool like Id3 renamer to rename them to a standard location. Make sure to include all relevant data in your naming scheme (e.g., Artist/Year-Album/Tracknum-TrackName-bitrate.mp3). This will remove duplicates, but include duplicates with different qualities.
